Tickets are now on sale for the second edition of the Centcelles Late Roman Festival, co-organized by the historical reconstruction association Septimani Seniores and the MNAT. From October 18 to 19, eight historical reconstruction groups will transform the Roman Site of Centcelles and transport us to the 5th century AD.

The Mèdol Quarry is incorporated as a new site of the MNAT after the company Abertis donated it to the Catalan Agency for Cultural Heritage. The MNAT is starting several improvement actions to promote the conservation of the site, improve its accessibility and effectively incorporate it into the circuit of visits and activities of the institution, integrating it into the heritage offer of the archaeological complex of Tàrraco.

L'inici de les obres de la segona fase de la rehabilitació integral de la Necròpolis de Tàrraco ha comportat el tancament temporal del jaciment. El projecte preveu la transformació de l'espai amb actuacions sobre jardins, edifici del museu, accessos, jaciment i espais per a serveis i activitats.

El nou projecte museogràfic del Museu Arqueològic de Tàrraco neix amb la voluntat de convertir-se en una referència per entendre l'època romana a Catalunya. La nova proposta aposta per un discurs més accessible i entenedor, que posi en valor una col·lecció única i que serà clau per entendre la història de Tàrraco i la romanitat.
