Fresco painting

MNAT 45096-1

Fresco painting that decorated the southern wall of a corridor in a luxurious suburban domus near the port of Tarraco. It depicts a hunting scene.

The use of light colours as a background to the scene suggests a chronology dating from the late second half of the 2nd century AD. The characteristics of this pictorial decoration suggest it may have been painted by a local artist.
